The History of Fuzi
Fuzi stands for 'master' in Mandarin, a term held in the highest esteem in the realm of tea. Hence the philosopher, Master Kong was anglicized into Confucius by the west.
Our passion for traditional teas and our commitment to the fine art of Chinese tea culture, allows Fuzi Tea to search for the most unique teas in the world. The Fuzi Tea company imports the freshest teas from every corner of the globe to tea lovers in the Pacific Northwest. A local company taught the virtues of the tea culture by tea masters in China, we travel to tea gardens in China every spring to sample and hand select those teas which are truly unique and vibrant.
Wherever possible, organic and fairly traded green, jasmine and oolong teas are purchased directly from the tea farmers, establishing important relationships for wisdom and fresh tea.
